Severine Gaille
Séverine Gaille is a PhD student in actuarial science in her last year at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Her research focuses on longevity risk and mortality modeling, looking for more efficient models in mortality projections.
She has a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lausanne and a Certificate in Population Study from the University of Geneva. In 2009, she worked six months as a research assistant on longevity risk at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
She is currently working as an assistant as well as a part-time lecturer in several topics related to social insurances at the University of Lausanne. She worked twice as an external collaborator for the Social Security Financial, Actuarial and Statistical Services of the International Labour Organization during her PhD studies.
